"It is my birthday..it is my birthday"- my first words today
Today is my birthday. I turned 47. Another 54 years to go. Not even half way.
Did I do anything special? I went to work and went out to dinner. Not bad...
What made the day memorable was the yearly pause I do. I pause to think about if the gap between where I am and where I want to be is getting smaller or larger. The answer this year is that it is smaller. What this means that the direction is correct but the speed might need to be increased. In physics the combined term that is used for these two concepts is velocity.

"Are your direction AND speed correct?"
