"What do you do?"- this question bothered me for 8 hours because I did not want to be labeled by any of the easy descriptors I could offer.

About a year ago I was sitting in the Borders bookstore on Michigan avenue.  It used to be my favorite place to hang out, read, and create.

While there, a men next to me struck up a conversation.  He had a notebook that was over an inch think with no lines.


He keep his notebook with him all of the time and writes his thoughts.  I displayed my notebook which has grid paper and we both laughed.

He loved his notebook and I loved mine.  In our eyes the one we were using was the most functional.  He could not influence me that what he was using would work for me nor could I convince him that what I was using would fit his needs.  

I watched a short film today online.  The name of the film is Influencers.
